As a side note: I agree with Pete’s analogy of the Canaanites as the Red Sox and the Israelites as the Yankees. It’s obvious that the Red Sox are the more powerful entity and the only hope the Yankees have to win is for YHWH to throw rocks from the heavens onto the heads of Papi, J-Bay, Youk, and Pedey.
