Mark Driscoll has just announced a new branch of Resurgence focused on books. It’s called re:Lit and will be the hub for Mark’s future books, including a new series entitled “A Book You’ll Actually Read”, which has books on the OT, NT, God, and Church Leadership slated to be released at the end of this month. Also included in this library is Vintage Jesus and his newest book, scheduled to be released this fall, entitled Death by Love.
It’s a pretty ambitious project that Driscoll is taking on…but he’s never been accused of being coy. This site will join both the Resurence and re:Greek as websites which are being developed by Mars Hill and offer some theologically packed and culturally relevant material.

It is good to hear that even in this time of what I can only describe as oppressive constraint, that some people are plodding ahead with the gospel charge.
How are things art, send me an email…

I pre-ordered a number of the books directly from Crossway some time back, and got PDFs of all the “A Book You’ll Actually Read” series. The one “On Church Leadership” was quite good. The rest I haven’t actually read…yet.
